GERMANY, May. 8, 2016 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 33: Two wins in a row for FC Kaiserslautern. After their 1-4 win against FSV Frankfurt on April 29, Die roten Teufel continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over SpVgg Greuther Fürth this Sunday.
SpVgg Greuther Fürth opened the score in the score in the 12th minute thanks to Berisha Veton, before FC Kaiserslautern regained the advantage with Jenssen Ruben ('18) and Ring ('38). Leading 2-1 at the break, Die roten Teufel further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Gortler Lukas in the 72nd minute.
1. FC Kaiserslautern climbed to 9th place with 45 points from 33 games, only one point behind Karlsruher SC.
