GERMANY, Aug. 13, 2016 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 2: VfL Bochum was held to a 1-1 draw by Karlsruher SC on Saturday.

VfL Bochum players started off well by taking the lead thanks to VfL Bochum defender Stefano Celozzi in the 34th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Karlsruher SC with a saving goal from Diamantakos Dimitris in the 65th minute.

VfL Bochum climbed to first place with 4 points from 2 games, tie on points with runner-up 1. FC Heidenheim 1846.
