1860 Munich forward Sascha Mölders opened the score in the 11th minute, before seeing FC Nürnberg catch up in the 17th minute thanks to Tim Matavž. 1-1 at half time. Die Löwen eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Liendl in the 79th minute.
