2. Bundesliga (Week 5) : Bochum beats Nürnberg 5-4

GERMANY, Sep. 16, 2016 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 5: After losing 2-0 to Würzburger Kickers on September 9, VfL Bochum returned to winning ways with a 5-4 victory over FC Nürnberg this Friday.

Mlapa Peniel scored dual goals

Three goals for both sides during the first half, Stöger (4e), Bastians (7e on penalty) and Mlapa Peniel (27e) for VfL Bochum, Salli (18e, 45e on penalty) and Bulthuis Dave (34e) for FC Nürnberg. After the break, VfL Bochum settled the issue with two additional goals by Mlapa Peniel ('55) and Quaschner Nils ('90).

VfL Bochum climbed to fifth place with 8 points from 5 games, tie on points with SG Dynamo Dresden, which has a game in hand.
