GERMANY, Mar. 13, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 24: After their 1-1 draw against Stuttgart on March 6, Eintracht Braunschweig bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Fortuna Düsseldorf this Monday.
Fortuna Düsseldorf had started off well by taking the lead in the 37th minute with a goal by Bormuth Robin. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Eintracht Braunschweig players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Nyman Christoffer '60 and Hernandez Onel '89).
Eintracht Braunschweig remains in fourth place with 44 points from 24 games, one point behind Hannover 96.
