GERMANY, Apr. 7, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for Arminia Bielefeld. After their 2-1 win against Fortuna Düsseldorf on April 4, Die Arminen continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over SV Sandhausen this Friday.
Andreas Voglsammer scored dual goals
Arminia Bielefeld dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Andreas Voglsammer in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die Arminen further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Voglsammer '55 and Borner Julian '75).
SV Sandhausen remains in 9th place with 34 points from 28 games, one point behind 1. FC Nürnberg.
