GERMANY, Apr. 24, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 30: Three wins in a row for Stuttgart. After their success against Karlsruher SC and Arminia Bielefeld, Die Roten continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over Union Berlin this Monday.
Stuttgart dominated the first half thanks to goals from Maxim ('29) and Terodde ('33). Leading 2-0 at the break, Die Roten further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ginczek in the 68th minute.
VfB Stuttgart remains in first place with 60 points from 30 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Eintracht Braunschweig.
