GERMANY, Sep. 29, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 9: After two straigth draws against FC Heidenheim and Dynamo Dresden, Darmstadt 98 lost 3-0 against FC Ingolstadt.
FC Ingolstadt dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Stefan Kutschke in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die Schanzer further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Kittel '61 and Pledl '79).
SV Darmstadt 98 remains in fourth place with 15 points from 9 games, one point behind Holstein Kiel, which has a game in hand.
