GERMANY, Oct. 20, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 11: After their 2-2 draw against Dynamo Dresden on October 14, Die Schanzer bounced back with a 3-0 victory over FC Heidenheim this Friday.
FC Ingolstadt dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Wahl Hauke in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die Schanzer further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Kittel '70 and Kutschke '79/penalty).
FC Ingolstadt 04 climbed to 9th place with 14 points from 11 games, only one point behind SV Darmstadt 98.
