GERMANY, Oct. 27, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 12: Two wins in a row for FC Ingolstadt. After their 3-0 win against FC Heidenheim on October 20, Die Schanzer continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over Arminia Bielefeld this Friday.
FC Ingolstadt dominated the first half thanks to goals from Borner Julian ('11 own) and Kutschke ('45 on penalty). Leading 2-1 at the break, Die Schanzer further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kittel with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
FC Ingolstadt 04 climbed to 7th place with 17 points from 12 games, only one point behind SV Sandhausen, which has a game in hand.
