Algerian league (Week 21) : ESS beats MCA 2-1
ALGERIA, Feb. 24, 2017 (AMP) — Algerian league / Match day 21: Two wins in a row for ES Setif. After their 1-0 win against USM Bel-Abbès on February 18, the Black Eagles continued their sensational form in the Algerian league with a 2-1 victory over MC Alger this Friday.
MC Alger had started off well by taking the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal by Mansouri Zakaria. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Black Eagles nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Rachid Nadji '48 on penalty and Tembeng Abed '78).
ES Setif remains in first place with 38 points from 20 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up USM Bel-Abbès.
