Algerian league (Week 2) : MCA and ESS tied at 1-1
ALGERIA, Sep. 9, 2017 (AMP) — Algerian league / Match day 2: ES Setif was held to a 1-1 draw by MC Alger on Saturday.
MC Alger players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Ayoub Azzi in the 26th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by ES Setif with a saving goal from Bedrane Abdelkader in the 77th minute.
ES Setif climbed to third place with 4 points from 2 games, tie on points with Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie.
