SAIGON, Dec. 7, 1963 (AMP) — Israel 1964 (Qualifiers) : South Vietnam defeated Malaysia by a score of 5-3 (halftime: 5-3), in a qualifying game for the 1964 AFC Asian Cup (Central zone) on Saturday.

The result put the South Vietnamese top of the group with 3 points. In their next game, South Vietnam will meet Hong Kong on December 11, while Malaysia will face Thailand.
