THAILAND, Mar. 16, 1975 (AMP) — Iran 1976 (Qualifiers) : Malaysia defeated South Korea by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 1976 AFC Asian Cup on Sunday.

The result put the Malaysians second in Group 4 with 3 points. In their next game, Malaysia will meet group leaders Thailand on March 18, while South Korea will face South Vietnam.
