DUBAI, Dec. 11, 1996 (AMP) — Emirates 1996 : Iraq defeated Thailand by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a Asian Cup group stage game on Wednesday night. Iraq advance to the Quarterfinals. Thailand is eliminated.
