ABU DHABI, Jan. 7, 2019 (AMP) — Emirates 2019 : Iran defeated Yemen by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 3-0), in the Asian Cup first round on Monday night at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
The result put the Iranians top of Group D with 3 points. In their next game, Iran will meet Vietnam at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium on January 12, while Yemen will face Iraq.
