Botola (Week 5) : WAC defeats CRA 2-1
MOROCCO, Oct. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Botola Pro / Match day 5: Two wins in a row for Wydad Casablanca. After their 2-3 win against Olympic Khouribga on October 1, Wydad continued their sensational form in the Botola Pro with a 2-1 victory over Chabab Rif Al Hoceima this Saturday.
N Guessi Fabrice opened the score in the 12th minute, before seeing Chabab Rif Al Hoceima catch up in the 26th minute thanks to Fall Mourtada own goal. 1-1 at half time. Wydad eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Saidi Salaheddine with one minute left in regular time.
Wydad Athletic Club climbed to fifth place with 6 points from 2 games, tie on points with Renaissance de Berkane.
