Bundesliga (Week 2) : Bayer beats Hertha BSC 4-2

GERMANY, Aug. 30, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Bayer Leverkusen. After their 0-2 win against Borussia Dortmund on August 23, Bayer Leverkusen continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 4-2 victory over Hertha Berlin this Saturday.

Hertha Berlin had started off well by taking the lead in the 24th minute with an own goal by Croatian defender Tin Jedvaj. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Bayer Leverkusen players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring four times in the second period (Jedvaj '50, Spahić '62, Brandt '74 and Bellarabi '86).

Bayer Leverkusen remains in first place with 6 points from 2 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up SC Paderborn 07.
