Bundesliga (Week 2) : Schalke 04 and Bayern Munich play to a 1-1 draw

GERMANY, Aug. 30, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 2: Bayern Munich was held to a 1-1 draw by Schalke 04 on Saturday.

Bayern Munich players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Polish forward Robert Lewandowski in the 10th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Schalke 04 with a saving goal from Schalke 04 defender Benedikt Höwedes in the 62nd minute.

Bayern Munich are down in fifth place with 4 points from 2 games, tie on points with 1. FC Köln.
