GERMANY, Sep. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 3: After their 1-1 draw against Schalke 04 on August 30, the Bavarians returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Stuttgart this Saturday.
Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Mario Götze in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ribéry with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Bayern Munich climbed to second place with 7 points from 3 games, tie on points with Bayer Leverkusen.
