GERMANY, Sep. 20, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 4: The match between Schalke 04 and Eintracht Frankfurt ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Eintracht Frankfurt players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Meier ('15) and Russ ('24) while Schalke 04 only scored once Choupo-moting ('40 on penalty). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Schalke 04 with a saving goal from Schalke 04 midfielder Julian Draxler in the 50th minute.
Eintracht Frankfurt are down in 11st place with 5 points from 4 games, tie on points with 1. FC Köln, which has a game in hand.
