GERMANY, Aug. 15, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga: FC Schalke 04 won their first game of season against SV Werder Bremen.
Schalke 04 dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Czech defender Theodor Gebre Selassie in the 34th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Royal Blues further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Choupo-moting Maxim Eric '68 and Huntelaar '85).
