GERMANY, Aug. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 2: Schalke 04 was held to a 1-1 draw by Darmstadt 98 on Saturday.
Darmstadt 98 players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Darmstadt 98 midfielder Konstantin Rausch in the 9th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Schalke 04 with a saving goal from Schalke 04 midfielder Julian Draxler in the 47th minute.
FC Schalke 04 remains in third place with 4 points from 2 games, 2 points behind Bayer Leverkusen.
