GERMANY, Aug. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 3: After a 1-1 draw with Darmstadt 98 on August 22, the Royal Blues lost 3-0 against Wolfsburg.
Wolfsburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Dutch forward Bas Dost in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die Wölfe further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Rodríguez '59/penalty and Klose '61).
VfL Wolfsburg climbed to first place with 7 points from 3 games, one point ahead of runner-up Borussia Dortmund, which has a game in hand.
