Bundesliga (Week 5) : Bayern Munich beats Darmstadt 3-0
GERMANY, Sep. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 5: Five wins in a row for Bayern Munich. After their success against Hamburger SV, Hoffenheim, Bayer Leverkusen and Augsburg, the Bavarians continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-0 victory over Darmstadt 98 this Saturday.
Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Chilian midfielder Arturo Vidal in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Coman Kingsley '62 and Rode '63).
Bayern Munich climbed to first place with 15 points from 5 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Borussia Dortmund, which has a game in hand.
