Bundesliga (Week 4) : Bayern Munich beats Augsburg 2-1
GERMANY, Sep. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 4: Four wins in a row for Bayern Munich. After their success against Hamburger SV, Hoffenheim and Bayer Leverkusen, the Bavarians continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Augsburg this Saturday.
Augsburg had started off well by taking the lead in the 43rd minute with a goal by midfielder Alexander Esswein. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Bavarians nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Lewandowski '77 and Müller '90 on penalty).
Bayern Munich remains in second place with 12 points from 4 games, tie on points with Borussia Dortmund.
