GERMANY, Dec. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 15: Two wins in a row for Mainz. After their 2-1 win against Eintracht Frankfurt on November 28, the O-Fives continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over Hamburger SV this Saturday.
Samperio Jairo scored dual goals
Mainz dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Spanish midfielder Samperio Jairo in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the O-Fives further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Samperio Jairo '51 and Clemens '76).
1. FSV Mainz 05 climbed to 7th place with 23 points from 15 games, only one point behind FC Schalke 04.
