GERMANY, Dec. 20, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 17: Three wins in a row for Hertha Berlin. After their success against Bayer Leverkusen and Darmstadt 98, the Old Lady continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-0 victory over Mainz this Sunday.
Hertha Berlin dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Czech midfielder Vladimír Darida in the 34th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Old Lady further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kalou in the 54th minute.
Hertha Berlin remains in third place with 32 points from 17 games, 6 points behind Borussia Dortmund.
