GERMANY, May. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 33: After their 0-0 draw against Hamburger SV on April 30, the O-Fives returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Stuttgart this Saturday.
Stuttgart midfielder Christian Gentner opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing Mainz catch up in the 37th minute thanks to Yunus Malli. 1-1 at half time. The O-Fives eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Cordoba Jhon ('53) and Onisiwo Karim ('77).
1. FSV Mainz 05 climbed to fifth place with 49 points from 33 games, 3 points behind Borussia Mönchengladbach.
