GERMANY, Mar. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 25: After losing 1-2 to Hannover 96 on March 2 and 4-0 to Mönchengladbach on March 2, Die Roten bounced back with a 5-1 victory over Hoffenheim this Saturday.
Georg Niedermeier scored dual goals
Stuttgart dominated the first half thanks to goals from Niedermeier ('5) and Rupp ('42). Leading 2-0 at the break, Die Roten further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Niedermeier '51, Kostić '78 and Werner '83).
VfB Stuttgart climbed to 10th place with 31 points from 25 games, only one point behind FC Ingolstadt 04.
