GERMANY, Mar. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 25: The match between Augsburg and Bayer Leverkusen ended in a 3-3 draw on Saturday.
Augsburg players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Korean midfielder Koo Cheol Ja ('5 and '44. However, even though they were leading 2-0 at half time, and despite Koo Cheol Ja goal ('57) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Bayer Leverkusen with goals by Karim Bellarabi ('60), Paul Verhaegh ('80 own) and Hakan Çalhanoğlu ('90 on penalty).
Bayer Leverkusen are down in 8th place with 36 points from 25 games, one point behind VfL Wolfsburg.
