GERMANY, Mar. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 24: After their 2-2 draw against Darmstadt 98 on February 27, Die Werderaner returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen this Wednesday.
Pizarro Claudio scored tripple goals
Werder Bremen dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Fin Bartels in the 5th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die Werderaner further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Pizarro Claudio '55, '65/penalty, '83).
Bayer Leverkusen are down in 7th place with 35 points from 24 games, 3 points behind FC Schalke 04.
