Bundesliga (Week 24) : Schalke 04 beats HSV 3-2
GERMANY, Mar. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 24: After their 1-1 draw against Stuttgart on February 28 and 0-0 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt on February 28, the Royal Blues returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Hamburger SV this Wednesday.
Hamburger SV midfielder Nicolai Müller opened the score in the 4th minute, before seeing Schalke 04 catch up in the 37th minute thanks to Max Meyer. 1-1 at half time. The Royal Blues eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Huntelaar ('66) and Schöpf ('77).
FC Schalke 04 climbed to 6th place with 38 points from 24 games, only one point behind 1. FSV Mainz 05.
