Bundesliga (Week 25) : Schalke 04 beats FC Köln 3-1

GERMANY, Mar. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 25: Two wins in a row for Schalke 04. After their 3-2 win against Hamburger SV on March 2, the Royal Blues continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over FC Köln this Saturday.

Schalke 04 dominated the first half thanks to goals from Huntelaar ('2 on penalty) and Meyer ('23). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Royal Blues further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Di Santo Franco in the 76th minute.

FC Schalke 04 climbed to fourth place with 41 points from 25 games, only one point behind Hertha Berlin, which has a game in hand.
