GERMANY, Dec. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 15: Hoffenheim was held to a 2-2 draw by Borussia Dortmund on Friday.
Hoffenheim players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Uth Mark ('2) and Wagner ('20) while Borussia Dortmund only scored once Götze ('11). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Borussia Dortmund with a saving goal from Gabonese forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 48th minute.
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim climbed to third place with 27 points from 15 games, 6 points behind RB Leipzig, which has a game in hand.
