GERMANY, May. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 32: After their 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim on April 29 and 0-0 draw against Borussia Dortmund on April 29, the Billy Goats returned to winning ways with a 4-3 victory over Werder Bremen this Friday.
Anthony Modeste scored dual goals
FC Köln dominated the first half thanks to goals from Modeste ('13), Bittencourt ('28) and Zoller ('44). Leading 3-2 at the break, the Billy Goats further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Modeste in the 47th minute.
1. FC Köln climbed to 6th place with 45 points from 32 games, only one point behind Hertha Berlin, which has a game in hand.
