GERMANY, Apr. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 26: Two wins in a row for Werder Bremen. After their 3-0 win against RB Leipzig on March 18, Die Werderaner continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 5-2 victory over SC Freiburg this Saturday.
Delaney Thomas scored tripple goals
Werder Bremen dominated the first half thanks to goals from Kruse ('21) and Delaney Thomas ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, Die Werderaner further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Delaney Thomas '47, '86 and Bartels '71).
SC Freiburg remains in 8th place with 35 points from 26 games, one point behind Eintracht Frankfurt, which has a game in hand.
