GERMANY, Apr. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 26: Five wins in a row for Bayern Munich. After their success against Hamburger SV, FC Köln, Eintracht Frankfurt and Mönchengladbach, the Bavarians continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 6-0 victory over Augsburg this Saturday.
Robert Lewandowski scored tripple goals
Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to goals from Lewandowski ('17) and Müller ('36). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Lewandowski '55, '79, Alcántara '62 and Müller '80).
Bayern Munich remains in first place with 65 points from 26 games, a 13-point lead over runner-up RB Leipzig.
