GERMANY, Sep. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 3: After losing 1-0 to Hannover 96 on August 27, the Royal Blues bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Stuttgart this Sunday.
Schalke 04 midfielder Nabil Bentaleb opened the score in the 4th minute on penalty, before seeing Stuttgart catch up in the 40th minute thanks to Akolo Chadrac. 1-1 at half time. The Royal Blues eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Naldo Rodrigues ('47) and Burgstaller ('48).
FC Schalke 04 climbed to fifth place with 6 points from 3 games, tie on points with RB Leipzig.
