Bundesliga (Week 10) : Bayer beats FC Köln 2-1
GERMANY, Oct. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 10: Two wins in a row for Bayer Leverkusen. After their 1-5 win against Mönchengladbach on October 21, Bayer Leverkusen continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over FC Köln this Saturday.
FC Köln had started off well by taking the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal by French forward Sehrou Guirassy. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Bayer Leverkusen players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Bailey Leon '54 and Bender '73).
Bayer Leverkusen climbed to 8th place with 15 points from 10 games, only one point behind TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
