BAMAKO, Jan. 19, 2002 (AMP) — Mali 2002 : Mali tied 1-1 with Liberia (halftime: 0-1), in a AFCON group stage game on Saturday afternoon.

The result left both teams on top of Group A with one point. In their next game, Liberia will meet Algeria on January 25, while Mali will face Nigeria.
