CAIRO, Jan. 21, 2006 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 : Ivory Coast defeated Morocco by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a AFCON group stage game on Saturday afternoon.

The result put the Ivorians second in Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Ivory Coast will meet Libya on January 24, while Morocco will face Egypt.
