LIBREVILLE, Sep. 2, 2006 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Gabon defeated Madagascar by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Gabonese top of Group 1 with 3 points. In their next game, Gabon will meet group leaders Ivory Coast on October 8, while Madagascar will face Ivory Coast.
