AFCON 2015 : Zambia and DR Congo tied at 1-1
EBEBIYíN, Jan. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 : Zambia tied 1-1 with DR Congo (halftime: 1-0), in a AFCON group stage game on Sunday afternoon at the Nuevo Estadio de Ebebiyín.
The Zambians started off well by taking the lead thanks to Singuluma in the 2nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by DR Congo with a saving goal from Bolasie in the 66th minute.
The result left both teams on top of Group B with one point. In their next game, DR Congo will meet Cape Verde at the Nuevo Estadio de Ebebiyín on January 22, while Zambia will face Tunisia.
