EBEBIYíN, Jan. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 : Tunisia defeated Zambia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a AFCON group stage game on Thursday afternoon at the Nuevo Estadio de Ebebiyín.
45 minutes of play and neither the Tunisians nor the Zambians have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Akaïchi ('70) and Chikhaoui ('89).
The result put the Tunisians top of Group B with 4 points. Zambia is bottom with one point. In their last game, Tunisia will meet DR Congo at the Nuevo Estadio de Ebebiyín on January 26, while Zambia will face Cape Verde.
