CAIRO, Jun. 24, 2019 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 : Ivory Coast defeated South Africa by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the AFCON first round on Monday afternoon at the Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo.
The result put the Ivorians top of Group D with 3 points. In their next game, Ivory Coast will meet group leaders Morocco at the Al-Salam Stadium on June 28, while South Africa will face Namibia.
