CAIRO, Jun. 28, 2019 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 : Morocco defeated Ivory Coast by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the AFCON first round on Friday night at the Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo.

The result put the Moroccans top of Group D with 6 points. Ivory Coast is second with 3 points. In their last game, Morocco will meet third-placed South Africa at the Al-Salam Stadium on July 1, while Ivory Coast will face Namibia.
