BRIDGETOWN, Mar. 23, 2016 (AMP) — USA 2017 (Qualifiers) : Barbados defeated Curaçao by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Caribbean Cup on Wednesday night at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex in Bridgetown.
Curaçao made the Barbadians doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Harewood in the 69th minute.
The result put the Barbadians top of Group 4 with 3 points. In their last game, Barbados will meet third-placed the Dominican Republic at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex on March 29, while Curaçao will face the Dominican Republic.
