Mar. 23, 2016 (AMP) — USA 2017 (Qualifiers) : Guadeloupe defeated Suriname on penalties 3-2, after the match ended 0-0 in regulation time, in a qualifying game for the 2017 Caribbean Cup on Wednesday night.
The score was still nil-all at the end of the regulation game time and overtime. The Guadeloupeans finally emerged the victors in the penalty shootout session by winning 3-2.
The result put the Guadeloupeans top of Group 6 with 3 points. In their last game, Guadeloupe will meet second-placed Suriname on March 29, while Suriname will face Guadeloupe.
