Championship (Week 1) : Wigan Athletic and Reading play out 2-2 draw
ENGLAND, Aug. 9, 2014 (AMP) — Championship: Wigan Athletic and Reading opened the 2014-2015 season with an entertaining 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Wigan Athletic players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Wigan Athletic forward Callum McManaman in the 27th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite McArthur goal ('90) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Reading with goals by Shaun Cummings ('71) and Sean Morrison ('77).
